So here I am...I finally made it into the world. Just to update everyone. My mommy went through a lot for me. Her water broke at 6:30 am, April 10, 2008. Daddy didn't believe she was in labor. He took his sweet time in the shower. They finally made it to the hospital around 7:30 with Mommy already having contractions about a minute and a half apart. The doctors checked her and she was 4 cm dialated. She got her epidural around 10am and she was thrilled to finally get it!!! She labored until 6pm when she was finally 10cm and I was in station 2. She was ready to push and push and push. Finally the dr came in around 8:30 with a vacuum to try to help mommy get me out. No luck, her pelvic bones were too narrow to push me out. We went into an emergency c-section and I was out by 9:14pm. I weighed 7lbs, 13 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. Daddy cut my cord and mommy was taken to recovery. She finally got to hold me around 12:30am and she was in LOVE!!!! I had lots of visitors. I will post all of those pictures in a slideshow later. Gotta get the pictures from Sue-sue and Grandmommy and Aunt Katie!
Mommy, daddy and I came home from the hospital, Monday, April 14. Mommy continued to be sick, throwing up and all and had to be put on IV's twice the first week home. The beginning of the next week, she had 101.4 degree temperature. Wow, I put her through the ringer, huh? But she still loves me.
Mommy and daddy are getting adjusted to having me around. I'm kinda loud and stinky at times but I make up for it by being real cutsie!!!
