So, my wonderful sister gave me the idea of having a blog to keep everyone posted on the arrival of baby Hudgins! So far, he has definitely made me aware that being a mom is going to be hard work. I have been sick the whole time but just recently the sickness really came on strong. Monday, March 3rd, my fabulous mother-in-law took me to the doctor. Turns out, I was severely dehydrated and earned myself to bags of iv's. They wanted me to have another but the beds just weren't that comfortable. I came home to my mother and husband and everyone was such a help. Somehow my house got cleaned and the Gatorade was flowing! But I got sick again that night and headed back to the doctor on Tuesday, thanks to my mom this time. NO more dehydration, thank God! but a UTI due to the dehydration was now the cause of my sickness. I also told the doctor about some pains I had been having in the middle of my chest. He checks me out and says that my cervix was thinning and that lil Hudgins had dropped. I have to take it real easy for the next 3 weeks. They want Hudgins to make it to 36 weeks before he enters the world. So I'm doing what I can to keep him in there. Please keep our family in your prayers. This has been a trying time. But thanks to the medicine...I'm just kind of floating through it. Much love to all of you and I will post more as my energy increases!
